“C” CAT INSTRUCTOR RATING

To qualify for POSSIBLE employment with us (and practically any other local operator) a minimum of 50 hours local experience time is required which includes Milford, Mt Cook, route checks, Mountain Flying, strip training, beach training etc. The 25 hours 'C' Cat course would obviously contribute towards this 50 hours.

Our 'C' Instructor training involves the following components:

• 25hrs dual training
• 'C' Cat ground course
• Instructional Technique Course
• CAA Flight Test
• CAA Issue
• One hour spin training

Instructing for Aspiring Air Ltd involves pilots in a broad range of experiences which rely on local knowledge. Thus it is necessary to have completed this experience as our syllabus extends beyond the minimum CAA licence requirements. We are interested in candidates motivated to be instructors who not just view instructing as a means of building hours.
